About Supercheap Auto
In 1972 Reg and Hazel Rowe based an car add-ons mail order enterprise. By 1974, the enterprise had a turnover of $1 million and opened its first retail region in Brisbane, QLD. In 1993 the enterprise become running seven shops while Bob Thorn joined the organisation as Director of Retail Operations.
Within three hundred and sixty five days the variety of shops running accelerated to fourteen and Bob Thorn become appointed General Manager. In 1997 Bob Thorn become appointed Managing Director and served on this function till January 2006, throughout his tenure the enterprise quick grew to over two hundred shops.
